Smok Stick V8 Baby Review

Mods

After the successful Stick V8, Smok released another vape pen to drool on – the Smok Stick V8 Baby. Let’s check and see how this baby will suit your taste.

Smoktech, or Smok for short, has been one of the front-runners in the vaping market for some years now. But their name rose to fame after introducing quality hardware products like the X Cube mods or tanks such as the TFV4 tank and TFV8 tank. From then, its list of premium items continuous on and on, producing a wide array of devices with varying amount of power – from 50 watts max to 350 watts.

Now enough with the company introduction and let’s get onto the real business. While the Smok Stick V8 Baby is categorized as a starter kit, you can’t belittle its specs and features as it offers more than just what a vape pen can do.

You can grab your own Stick V8 Baby kit at nzecigstore.co.nz for only NZD $56.90. Included in the kit are a Stick V8 2000 battery, a TFV8 baby tank, a V8 Baby M2 core (0.15 ohm dual coil), a V8 Baby M2 core (0.25 ohm dual coil), a vape band, a user manual, and a USB cord. Well, this five-star rated kit really runs out fast, so make sure to get it before it sells out.

As I pointed out earlier, Smok has the habit of surprising its fans in every product it releases. That being said, the Stick V8 Baby is no exception at all. Talking about its built, its material is made with quality in mind. Both the battery and the tank are performing exceptionally well also.

Its airflow adjustment ring also runs smooth and it does not spin all the way. It is something I really appreciate of course. It is also very easy to unscrew the tank from the battery. I commend its top cap as well; it is probably the smoothest I have tried from the TFV8 family.

Performance-wise, the Stick V8 Baby has a battery capacity of up to 2,000 mAh (non-removable). Its battery life is impressive and can last pretty long. As for my experience, one charge can last up to at least 2 days using the 0.25 ohm coil. The 0.15 coil, however, easily drains. The discharge rate is higher because of the lower resistance. The mod is packed with a 0.5 amp charging rate so charging take quite a long time. By the way, replacing the Smok tanks can be so easy, but I warn you, it can be a messy process so please do it with care.

Based on the list I gave you earlier, the kit box contains two coils inside (0.15 ohm and 0.25 ohm). I actually did not expect it, but for a little device, it can already produce a good amount of vapor. But a word from the wise: I like the 0.25 ohm coil better. The flavor is not disappointing and the e-juice did not go through too fast. The coils can last you a decent amount of time when properly taken care of (correct priming and keeping juice level high).

If you have recently quit cigarette smoking, then this vape pen produces a decent throat hit already. It can also accommodate several TFV8 Baby coils, ranging from 0.15 ohm to 0.6 ohm. But usually, most of these are not that compatible with the Stick V8; however, the V8 Baby Q2 (0.6 ohm coils) seems interesting enough and should suit the Baby tank.

Complete your entire vaping experience with the quality e-liquids made by Cosmic Fog. The company said it spends an average of 7 to 10 months to produce each flavor. This best-seller brand has six flavors to offer; Chewberry, Chill’d Tobacco, The Shocker, Kryp, Sonrise and Sonset. Get your own 30-ml bottle now for only NZD $24.99 at NZ Ecig Store.

Overall, this device works simply. All you need to do is charge it, turn it on, and start vaping. There is really nothing to worry about the mod or how to adjust the power for different coils. I think this will cater even to beginners as well. It’s already good to give you a head-start even if you don’t know any theory behind vaping.

The Smok Stick V8 Baby surely is a refreshing take from all the power-hungry coils with bulky battery mods currently available on the market today. And again, I am totally sold with its simplicity.
